Ashley is a third generation realtor. In 1981, after a change of direction from listing and selling real estate with widely renowned auction experts Gladding, Keys and Neil, Ashley commenced working as a trainee manager with the leading real estate company of the day, Belton's Real Estate.
Within a short period of time and having accepted the challenge, he was appointed manager of both the Remuera and Kohimarama branches. He later moved to Mount Albert an area he was familiar with, to take control of that office. Ashley has never looked back! In 1988, he became an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and in 1991 he incorporated Goodwin Realty Ltd and bought the Mt Albert office.
Ashley Goodwin is now Managing Director of Goodwin Realty's property management business. Goodwin Realty sold its sales agency to Bayleys in September 2011.
With 44 years in the industry, Ashley definitely has real estate in his blood. He has proven credentials in the Auckland property world, with his vast experience in real estate sales, rentals and management.
Under Ashley's influential leadership, Goodwin Realty built a high-profile sales presence in the Mt Albert, Mt Eden, Pt Chevalier, Avondale and Sandringham markets; it is now recognised as an industry leader in these and surrounding areas. After five years practicing as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Catherine Goodwin commenced her career in real estate in 2005. In 2008 she successfully completed her graduate study at the University of Massey (Albany Campus) to achieve status of Associate to the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. As a Licensee Agent, Catherine holds the highest of New Zealand's three classes of licence.
Acting as in-house legal counsel to London's largest local authority social landlord, the London Borough of Southwark, Catherine has 'walked-the-walk'. This has given her the ability to understand all aspects of property management and rentals, housing repairs and long-term maintenance plans.
Electing to operate 'at the coal-face' upon her return to Auckland, Catherine managed a large portfolio in the west of Auckland before commencing her transition to management.
As General Manager of Goodwin Realty, Catherine stands alongside her father Ashley Goodwin in his commitment to safeguard client's investments, while further developing his commitment to provide the company's clientele a superlative level of professional service.

Vicki came to Goodwin Property Management after spending the previous 12 years working for Vodafone. During this time she worked in all facets of business development in business and corporate sales, as a consultant, and also overseeing a team of sales reps.
Vicki also spent time as Operations Manager and Group Retail Manager overseeing four retail sites and the day-to-day running of stores.
This has given her substantial experience and knowledge and also provided her with the expertise and skills necessary to understand people and any issues that arise from working in the property industry.

Brendan practised for seven years as a Commercial Property Solicitor in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, he then commenced his real estate career in Melbourne, Australia in 2014.
Having worked as a Sales and Leasing Agent for the Commercial Real Estate Agency Allard Shelton, Brendan has an in-depth understanding of commercial property management, the purchase and sale of commercial property as well as marketing and leasing office, retail and industrial premises.

In 2006 Aleina began her Real Estate career working with a prominent Melbourne commercial venue management company. During this time Aleina built her knowledge in managing, marketing, facilities maintenance and accounting practices relating to property.
In 2013 she became Managing Director of her family’s residential and commercial real estate agency. In this position the agency experienced unprecedented growth.
Her extensive knowledge of the property industry has proven to be an asset to both Goodwin Property Management and its clients since joining.
Leon joins Goodwin Property Management following Graduation from Otago University’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Marketing Management.
Throughout his study, and continuing upon Graduation, Leon gained considerable experience across the Hospitality Industry, and Adventure Tourism based in Golden Bay (a spectacular bay located at the northwest-end of New Zealand's South Island).
With an abundance of transferable skills, Leon has very quickly established himself as a highly regarded member of the Team.
Self-confessed, Leon thrives in-the-face of challenges, and enjoys pushing his limits both in sport and business!

JP Claassen was raised in a family that understood and capitalised on the opportunity of property renovation and development. "Growing up I started helping by decorating and furnishing the properties before we would market them. Dad was also in the building industry and from time to time would build new houses for clients - the typical houses that we would buildwashigh valueGolf Estate properties and this is where my love for the property industry was founded". In 2001 JP became registered in South Africa as a licensed Real Estate Agent. JP's formal education was extended to complete various marketing courses, and he subsequently commenced the marketing and selling of Cape Town property. Previously employed as a property photographer with the well-established open2view, Christine brings extensive marketing knowledge to her advertising campaigns. Before this role, Christine honed her knowledge of property as a residential selling agent for six years.
Outside of the office, you will find Christine enjoying time with her family and friends. Entertaining is her forte!
Originally from the UK, and having been based in London for nine years after graduating from Exeter University, Dave had extensive experience with client relations and residential property. This experience has easily transferred over to his role with Goodwin Property Management.
Dave arrived in New Zealand in 2004, and has been involved with residential property ever since. He joined the Goodwin Group in 2006, and has been an active member within the company since this time. His portfolio has grown over the years and he has established many excellent professional relationships.
A lover of all sports (especially the oval ball), and with three young children to chase around, he keeps himself very busy away from the office as well.
Always believing that life need have no boundaries has lead Kim to amazing places; guest speaking at the Beehive, being a guest at a royal gala at Buckingham Palace, and on one occasion, when negotiating a deal with Virgin, meeting with Richard Branson at his home

Wesley has always enjoyed working with people and for 3 years in South Yorkshire UK, he worked with young adults with learning difficulties. He then moved to Cape Town South Africa to open a restaurant where he worked as front of house manager and enjoyed hosting a large variety of people including tourists from all over the world. In 2007 Wesley Made the decision to venture into Real Estate with his partner and become a licensed Real Estate Agent, Wesley and his partner managed the company together building a successful portfolio of over 200 properties. After running this company successfully for several years, the decision was made to leave South Africa and join his family in New Zealand. Wesley has been part of the Goodwin team working in administration , then returning to his familiar role of a Property Manager and the company could not be happier.

Dan(Denise) is an experienced and driven property manager who speaks fluent English and Mandarin. She has an excellent understanding of the investment market as well as the eastern& western culture. She has developed a vast knowledge of rental advertising/marketing, tenant tribunals, letting and inspections.
Denise’s casual and easy going nature is what draws people to her in all aspects of life, but do not let this fool you, Denise is very efficient and driven. Socially she enjoys meeting up with friends, going to the gym and travelling around the world.
Rose has worked in Real Estate administration since 2000, winning Top Administrator awards during her time in Sales Administration, and has completed the Real Estate Certificate course.
She joined the Goodwin Property Management Team in 2009, where she has flourished to her current position of Senior Administrator to our Front Line Team.
Basedfromour New North Road, Mt Albert Branch, Rose administers portfolios with an exceptional level of professionalism. Visitors to the office are often surprised by just how much detail Rose recalls!!
Vested to ensure "her team" are well supported in all aspects of their management roles, Rose takes her responsibilities seriously.
Away from the office, Rose treasures time with her Grandchildren, and is an award-winning doll maker!
Jacky Grant joined Goodwin Property Management in 2013 as a Property Management Administrator. After a brief sojourn raising a cheeky toddler, she has now re-joined the company as the Accounts Administrator.
Her dedication to detail and need to tame chaos into order, makes her an effective accounts administrator providing the very best service to Goodwin’s clients.

In her spare time, Jacky loves spending time with her family, pottering in the garden and exploring nurseries looking for rare botanic gold.
Erica is our full-of-life and upbeat office Administrator who brings a lot of smiles and cheer to the Wellesley Street office.
After moving to New Zealand in 2008, she landed on her feet moving on to a range of senior administration and reception focused roles.
Erica gained a Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree from the Auckland Institutes of Studies in 2014. She has experience in dealing with people from all cultures and has also gained Level 1 in Mandarin from Auckland University.
She is new to the world of real estate but that has not slowed her down. Quickly learning the ropes of being in a fast paced property management role and doing a great job.
